Membership Information
By joining the International Claim Association, your company or organization
is able to participate in the full range of ICA programs. The membership
requirements are:
Eligibility
Individual
All applications are subject to approval by the ICA Membership Committee.
Individual members will be listed in the ICA directory by name; no company
affiliation will be listed. Individual members will have no voting
privileges. Those employers/companies eligible for corporate membership
are not eligible for individual membership. Individual members must
be sponsored by an employee of an ICA membership company.
Corporate
Any company or association licensed, chartered or otherwise authorized
by any state or provincial government or any national government to engage
in the business of administering health, accident or life insurance claims,
including health service corporations, preferred provider organizations,
health and hospital service corporations, third-party administrators,
fraternal benefit societies, insurance companies and reinsurance companies,
shall be eligible for ICA membership.

- PPOs
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield Organizations
- TPAs
- Fraternal Benefit Societies
- Indemnity Health Insurers
- Disability Insurers
- Life Insurers
- Reinsurers
Administrative Rules
Proposed member companies must agree to and abide by the
ICA Statement of Principles and any administrative rules adopted by the
Executive Committee.
