Advocacy

Established in 2021 the “Best of ICA” award recognizes those individuals who continuously contribute and support the ICA. The selection criteria for the award are based on a number of criteria including; character & integrity that exemplifies the ICA’s ideals and serve as role models to others; leadership for acknowledging, coaching, and mentoring others; and, service honoring the individual’s commitment to the ICA.

Character & Integrity – Honors those whose values align with those of the ICA and are living out the ICA’s mission and vision. Recipients exemplify the association’s ideals and serve as role models to others. The award recipient should be someone who integrates the ICA’s values into everything that they do.

Leadership – For acknowledging, coaching, and mentoring of others. The individual portrays strong leadership characteristics serving as a role model to others. They lead by example inspiring other members to take smart risks and to drive positive change within the association.

Service – This individual has a long history of service and dedication to the ICA. The recipient is a person who has a record of going above and beyond to get things done, helping others or has taken on special projects on a regular basis. The award recognizes and applauds the years of service dedicated by the individual and honors the individual’s commitment to the ICA.
