I wanted to share some exciting news with you regarding ICA’s management team and staff. As some of you know, ICA has been managed by an association management company since 1995. For the last 20 years, ICA’s management company has been Association Management Strategies, Inc,. (AMS). On April 1, 2025, AMS was acquired by Etherio Group and together they will become one of the largest and most meaningful association management companies in the industry. This partnership is a significant milestone and reflects the commitment to enhancing the value they provide and reinforces the dedication to ICA.
Chris Murphy who has been with ICA for 29 ½ years will continue as Executive Director. Likewise, Sibel Clifford, who has been with ICA for 6 years will continue as Deputy Executive Director. Additionally, the rest of the ICA team and back-office staff will also remain in place. Chris and Sibel will continue to ensure continuity in the high-quality service you have come to expect from ICA. The integration will bring about enhanced capabilities, allowing ICA to deliver even more innovative solutions to our members. “The synergy between our companies will provide ICA with access to expanded resources, innovative technologies, and a broader array of services—all designed to better meet the needs of ICA. By combining our strengths, we are confident in our ability to drive greater effectiveness and success for ICA and our member companies.” said ICA Executive Director Chris Murphy. In short, it’s business as usual for ICA. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Chris, Sibel or me. I look forward to seeing everyone at the ICA Annual Conference, September 28-30, 2025 at the New Orleans Marriott, New Orleans, LA. Registration opens in June. Cordially, Monica Clink, FLMI, FLHC, FALU, FFSI, PCS, AAPA, AIRC, ARA, HIA ICA President
