INTERNATIONAL CLAIM ASSOCIATION HONORS ANN BINZER WITH "BEST OF ICA" AWARD

New Orleans, LA – Ann Binzer, FLHC, FALU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI of Cincinnati Life Insurance Company has been named the recipient of the International Claim Association’s (ICA) 2025 “Best of ICA” award.  The award was presented at ICA’s 2025 Annual Education Conference, which brought together over 400 attendees representing life, accident, health/medical, disability, workers’ compensation, technology, and fraud claims professionals. ​

Established in 2021, the “Best of the ICA” award honors individuals who have continuously contributed to and supported the ICA.  Selection is based on a range of criteria, including character and integrity that exemplify the ICA’s ideals and serve as role models for others; leadership in acknowledging, coaching, and mentoring peers; and exceptional service reflecting a deep commitment to the ICA’s mission. 
Previous recipients include Frank Best (Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company) in 2021, Richard Marquez (Diligence International Group) in 2022, Tony Ferrante (Sun Life) in 2023, and Marc Carlson (Modern Woodmen) in 2024. 
Ann Binzer has been a vital part of the International Claim Association for many years. She has exemplified remarkable dedication, leadership, and commitment, significantly advancing the goals and ideals of our organization. “Ann’s unwavering support of ICA, her strong leadership, and her willingness to mentor and develop others make her truly deserving of this honor,” said ICA Executive Director Chris Murphy. 
Ann has served ICA in numerous roles, including as chair of key committees and as an active participant in the Board of Directors and Life and Annuity Committee. Her professionalism, mentorship, and selfless service have set a high bar for current and future members alike. “Ann embodies the values and mission of the ICA, serving as both a role model and leader for all who have the privilege of working with her,” said ICA Immediate Past President, Monica Clink, FLMI. The Best of the ICA Award is presented annually to recognize individuals providing outstanding service to the ICA. ​
