Greetings ICA Members –

June is a time when the temperatures rise, days grow longer and according to custom, it becomes acceptable to wear white pants again.  Additionally, there is a lesser known but equally important event that occurs each June: the opening of registration for the International Claim Association’s Annual Education Conference.

This year, the conference will be held at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Marco Island, Florida.  With its newly constructed, multi-million dollar, state of the art conference center, there could not be a finer facility to host our educational sessions.  Additionally, the conference center boasts an impressive exhibit hall that will be the perfect location for you to meet and interact with our exhibitors; some of the very best vendors and suppliers in our industry.  Outside of the conference center, we will be taking advantage of the natural beauty of the location by having social events set on the pristine, white sand beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico…. The ideal setting for networking with your industry peers.

Our program will kick-off with keynote speaker, Amy Van Dyken.  Amy is an Olympic Champion having won six gold medals in swimming during the course of her Olympic career.  Amy will share with us details of her incredible career and is sure to be an inspiration to all.

Following Amy’s session, you will have two, information-filled days of lectures and roundtable discussions.  Providing conference attendees with the highest quality of educational content is paramount and with more than 45 sessions to choose from, we are certain there is something for everyone.  We have raised the level of educational content this year with more sessions targeting advanced and trending topics and have a number of new presenters.  In addition, the ICA has secured a professional corporate training and development firm to lead an entirely new track for insurance leaders looking to advance their skillset. This track will include sessions on executive leadership, strategic thinking and more.

In closing, the 2018 Annual Education Conference is gearing up to be one of our best conferences ever and while we have taken steps to ensure you have a world-class conference experience, we understand that in today’s environment, every dollar spent must return something of value.  We have structured the 2018 Annual Education Conference to do just that; provide a valued experience consisting of content and networking opportunities that will help to advance both you and your business.
